1. Booking Confirmation and Deposit
- To confirm a booking, guests must pay a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total reservation cost within 24 hours of booking.
Reservations are not secured until the deposit is received.
- The remaining balance is due upon arrival at the Centre.
2. Payment Methods

We accept payments by bank transfer, mobile money, and major credit cards. Guests will receive detailed payment instructions upon booking.
3. Late Payments

If the remaining balance is not paid within 24 hours of the arrival date, The Alkebulan Heritage Centre reserves the right to cancel
the reservation and charge a cancellation fee as per our policy.
4. Currency and Transaction Fees

All payments are charged in Ghanaian Cedi (GHS). Any transaction fees, such as international transfer or
currency conversion fees, are the responsibility of the guest.
1. Cancellation by Guest
-
30+ Days Before Arrival:
Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the scheduled arrival date are eligible for a refund of the amount paid,
minus the 50% deposit.
- 15-29 Days Before Arrival:
Cancellations made between 15-29 days before the arrival date will be refunded 50% of the total amount paid.
- Less than 15 Days Before Arrival:
Cancellations made within 14 days of the arrival date are non-refundable.
2. Cancellation by The Alkebulan Heritage Centre

In the rare event that The Alkebulan Heritage Centre must cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances,
guests will be offered a full refund or an option to reschedule the reservation within 12 months at no additional charge.
Early Departures and No-Shows

In cases of early departure or no-show, the full reservation amount will be charged, and no refunds will be provided.
Modification of Bookings

Requests to change dates or adjust reservations must be made at least 14 days prior to the arrival date.
Adjustments will be subject to availability, and additional charges may apply.

Check-In:
From 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Check-Out:
By 11:50 AM
- Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
2. Resort Guidelines

Guests are expected to respect the Centre’s cultural and natural environment. We promote a peaceful atmosphere;
therefore, loud noises and disturbances are not permitted.
- Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas and guest accommodations but permitted in designated outdoor areas.
3. Guest Conduct

We expect guests to behave respectfully toward staff, other guests, and the local community. Disruptive behaviour may result in
immediate termination of stay without a refund.
4. Liability

The Alkebulan Heritage Centre is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained during a guest’s stay.
Guests are encouraged to obtain travel insurance to cover unforeseen incidents.
Pets
-
Some pets and emotional support animals are permitted at the Centre.
